Hour of Code

This week our class participated in the "Hour of Code"; a national program to promote computer programming among students. We explored an application called Light Bot. The kids were so engrossed and persevered with some really challenging tasks! The best part was watching them work together and share strategies!

Math Games!

We're having lots of fun playing many different games to help us learn our math facts!  Lately we have been focusing on doubles facts (4+4, 9+9) and near doubles facts (4+5, 8+9).

Self-Portrait Art

We had a special surprise art lesson from Miss Morrison last week. She taught us some great tips and tricks for drawing realistic people in our small moments stories. Then, using our mirrors, everyone had fun drawing themselves. These are awesome!!
